Hi, I’ve had to make several phone calls recently to the surgery for various issues and each time the staff have been so helpful on the phone and have dealt with my queries. So I wanted to say “Thank You”.
People are very quick to complain but not enough are quick to praise. I have over the past 18 months experienced a variety of health issues for the the first time in many years. I want to thank the doctors, clinical staff and support team for the amazing service I have received throughout. Your professionalism, care and kindness has been amazing, more so given that you are all having to cope with the challenges of the pandemic. You do a fantastic job under very difficult circumstances and I take my hat off to all of you.
I would like to praise the surgery on their new triage system. Telephone consults are an excellent way to for the GP deal with patients symptoms, they can decide if the patient needs to attend the surgery. I had excellent consult today with the doctor, with discussion I didn’t need to attend but was given time to get my ailment across.
Advice to other patients, write what you need to ask so you don’t forget and get flustered.
I would like to thank Dr Anderson, for her caring, professional, service. She was quick to send for a mammogram, which lead to my quick diagnosis and treatment.
Sometimes we forget you guys. Or worse still, just take you for granted.
Greatly appreciated.

Having read so much bad press and listened to the poor experience of friends regarding access to ‘flu vaccine I feel I must congratulate South Beach Practice for their efficiency in organizing appointments this year.
I received the letter from the surgery about a week after NHS letter.
Appointment was given for 3/4 days ahead but, unfortunately did not
suit so I had to cancel. The next day I received a phone call offering an appointment for the following morning.
The set up in the car park was excellent and the appointment took only a couple of minutes.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Dr Campbell Nicol who I got a cancellation appointment with today. He was running slightly late and apologised to me then took all the time I needed to deal with my concerns even though he was running a wee bit late. I had quite a few questions and he took the time to listen to me and look back my notes and advised me and I came out of the surgery feeling like a massive weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you very much Dr Nicol.
My wife and I had a consultation with Joanne this morning and I write to say what a pleasure it was. Her attitude and demeanour was a joy to behold and she is obviously a very caring person. Please give her our thanks
I went for annual check up with practice nurse yesterday and my blood pressure a bit high so I was advised to put appointment on to see a doctor. Got home and 10 minutes later I received a call to say a cancellation appointment had arisen so I was back in 10 minutes later. I cannot thank you enough for this service. I know there are a multitude of problems in our NHS but not in my experience. Keep up the good work!
I had a consultation with Dr Woods today , what an asset to this practice, he took time and listened to my concerns without the feeling of being rushed.
He was very kind ,sympathetic and offered me support and valuable advise and most importantly actually listened to me.
I work in the NHS and I am aware of the pressures that are faced on a day to day basis , their is so many negatives that get reported and never enough positives.
I don’t normally write reviews however I felt that this was important

I just want to thank everyone involved in my recent illness, I visited Dr Monaghan with stomach pains last Tuesday it turned out to be a perforated gallbladder which was removed. I cant thank everyone involved enough for the help and treatment I received including a house visit from a Lady Doctor on Wednesday this week, I think her name was Dr Powe.

You guys are doing an amazing job, thanks so much.

That you could meet thank you is a understatement to say the least.
I am not a patient of the practice, however I called on behalf of my granddaughter on the 5th October 2018 at 9:40am. Because of the time I called, I fully expected to be told there were no appointments and I was ready to argue the case and insist she was seen. Instead I was greeted by the kindest and most understanding receptionist I have dealt with in a long time. Needless to say, my granddaughter was seen 45 minutes later and received the help she needed. I just want to say thank you to the receptionist that dealt with me, you have certainly restored my faith and belief that people who work in a service that is stretched to the max, can still be kind and compassionate. Keep up the good work and keep making a difference! Thank you!!

I’d like to express my thanks and appreciation to all the staff at South Beach on behalf of both my wife and myself. In our opinion they all do a very good job often in very difficult circumstances. I certainly couldn’t deal gently and kindly with some of the situations they are presented with. It was good to read for the first time the many positive comments on here but I believe that more folk should show their appreciation and understanding for the work they do.Thanks everyone for what you do for us all.

I find you are a wonderful surgery to get an appointment for my two children and they are clearly a priority for you. I really appreciate that as a mum I know they will always get to see a doctor or practice nurse if I am worried.

Many thanks to the fantastic receptionist yesterday, who despite being extremely busy on an understaffed and early closing day, arranged with my wife, who was very unwell, to have a doctor call her within twenty minutes and in time to have her badly needed prescription renewed on the day. Very much appreciated.

This wonderful Dr has taken time and showed compassion, expertise and is very pro active. He has demonstrated a level of care that far exceeds what I experienced in England from my previous Gp and 3 seperate consultants. I can’t express how grateful I am for his time and care today 
Its great to have your doctor listen to you and understanding how you are feeling, particularly when it is your first appointment with them.
As a result, I am feeling 100% better than I was, so thank you.
